Lydia Bauer
Early Interventionist
Early Interventionist
Lydia has lived and grown up all over South Carolina as she followed her pastor father and their family around the state. She has called the Upstate home for 10 years now. Lydia earned her Bachelor’s degree in Elementary Education from Columbia College and later added special education to her teaching certificate with a partial Master’s degree from Furman University.
Lydia spent 7 years teaching predominantly special education students before transitioning into tutoring and nannying before falling in love with Early Intervention. Her love of working with kids began at a young age helping them during her many hours at church which turned into babysitting, nannying, and eventually education!
Lydia loves helping kids build the connections that lead to those light bulb moments! Now she loves facilitating those moments while supporting families either long term through diagnosis and continued support or short term for kids who grow out of needing early intervention services.
Lydia has been married to her husband Aaron since October of 2020 and they have been a couple for almost a decade! They enjoy spoiling their little gray cat Lulu and exploring together! In her free time, Lydia enjoys reading, thrifting, watching TV, and cooking.
