Elizabeth Bishop

Elizabeth is from North Carolina, but has lived in eight states around the eastern United States. She came back to North Carolina for her college education, completing her Bachelor’s of Science in Psychology at Appalachian State University in 2013, and her Master of Science in Occupational Therapy at East Carolina University in 2017.
Elizabeth has worked in the acute setting with adults since she graduated, but a love of pediatric patients and some good luck brought her to Carolina Therapeutics. She enjoys giving children and families the tools they need to access the world around them through functional growth and play. Seeing her patients gain confidence in their abilities is her favorite part of the job.
When not working, Elizabeth loves to read, travel, and spend time with her husband, son, and pet menagerie. If you see her curled up in a chair outside with a book while her family plays in the yard, she’s probably happy!
