Johna earned both her Bachelor’s degree in speech-language pathology/audiology and Master’s degree in speech-language pathology from Kent State University in Ohio. As a graduate student, she gained substantial experience working with preschoolers with autism and early childhood clients with a variety of speech and language disorders.
Johna has experience working with both adult and pediatric clients with a variety of speech and language challenges. During her clinical fellowship, she worked primarily with students with autism helping them access communication through varying types of augmentative and alternative communication. Her passion is working with young children in their natural environment and providing therapy through play.
In her free time, Johna enjoys reading, visiting with friends, and finding new shows to watch on Netflix
