Speech Language Pathologist
Emily earned her Bachelor’s degree in Speech and Hearing Sciences with a minor in Linguistics and a certificate in Teaching English to Speakers of Other Languages (TESOL), as well as her Master’s degree in Communication Sciences and Disorders from East Carolina University.
Emily’s areas of interest include feeding and swallowing, speech sound disorders, and expressive and receptive language. During her coursework, she gained valuable experience working with adult and pediatric patients, and she enjoys working with both populations. Emily is a Western North Carolina native and grew up in Cliffside and Hendersonville.
Outside of work, she enjoys hiking, reading, spending time with her dog and family, and exploring Western North Carolina.
